AI Engineer

Role Summary

Designs, builds, trains, validates, and deploys intelligent systems that automate tasks and generate insights. Applies Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, data handling, NLP, predictive analytics, and cognitive automation capabilities to support BEP AI and Automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, train, validate, and deploy AI/ML solutions.
• Develop intelligent systems for pattern recognition, NLP, predictive analytics, and automation.
• Support AI & Automation Support, including AI/ML use-case development, prototyping, model development, deployment, and sustainment.
• Support AI applications using high-quality data and approved environments.
• Apply Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to business and manufacturing-support use cases.
• Support cognitive automation and AI-enabled automation solutions.
• Incorporate model testing, human oversight, operational fallback procedures, and documented limitations where required.
• Support MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, retraining, and retirement.
• Support ethical and trustworthy AI practices, including assessment of bias, fairness, and ethical considerations.
• Support Enterprise Technical and Architectural Requirements through secure AI/ML development, deployment, testing, and monitoring practices.

Experience (Mandatory)

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, Math, or a related STEM field,

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience developing intelligent systems using Python.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Experience with mathematics/statistics applicable to AI/ML.
• Practical experience with data handling.
• Experience developing AI/ML applications supporting automation, predictive analytics, NLP, or pattern recognition.
• Experience supporting AI model development, validation, deployment, and sustainment.
• Experience applying responsible, ethical, secure, and trustworthy AI principles.
