Professional Billing Analyst

Role: Professional Billing Analyst

Location: Martinez, CA (Remote)

Duration: 6+ Months

Overview: Work includes system maintenance and workflow optimization. The analyst will also be working on projects by building and implementing new workflows that stem from regulatory requirements.

Key Focus Areas: Charge Router optimization and updates are the primary focus. The role also covers monthly billing cycles, PB admin work, documentation, some claims exposure, and light project management. The analyst will be leading PB admin responsibilities during this engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Working on-charge router updates and optimization.

·         Maintenance task from incoming tickets and requests (i.e. new Bill Area, rule review and update, etc.)

·         Attending and leading meetings with operations and the team.

·         Keeping JIRA board up to date, and monitoring backlog.

·         Project based work including review of requirements, updating/optimizing build, testing, identifying errors, updating claim build and/or automations, and documenting processes.

·         Documenting build and workflows.

·         Claims build, including but not limited to rule updates, automation setup, CDF and/or payer build.

·         Upgrade based work.

Required Qualifications:

·         Epic Professional Billing Admin certification

·         Epic Claims Build experience

Desirable Qualifications:

·         Resolute Professional Billing Claims and Electronic Remittance Administration (or at least Claims experience)
