Monaco Solicitors is the UK's leading employment law firm for employees, never for employers. People find us at the worst moment of their working lives, mostly through search, and what they find decides whether they get proper help or a claims farm. Organic search already generates a material share of our revenue. Your job is to grow that, deliberately and measurably, across both traditional search and AI search.

One thing to know before you read on: this is a growth role, not an optimisation role. If you've grown organic search somewhere and can prove it with numbers, keep reading. If you've optimised pages while someone else owned the growth, this isn't the role for you. 

You would own our organic growth engine.

Not tickets, not tweaks: the strategy, the execution and the number. We want someone who has done this before, set up SEO and made it big, or taken the share of leads and revenue coming from organic search and improved it significantly. You'll know your numbers from previous successes, and you'll be expected to produce new ones for us here.

 What you will own:

• The organic growth number: leads and revenue from search, reported monthly, owned end to end
• Traditional SEO across all three pillars: technical, on-site and off-site, with GA4 and Search Console as your daily instruments
• AI search (GEO): we already appear in AI results by default, your job is to make it deliberate, measured and dominant, this is a key aspect of the role
• The content engine's findability: we have a long-standing writer producing genuinely good content, you make sure it gets found, in Google and in the AI answers

• Proof of growth, not participation: a before number, an after number, a timeframe, and your name on the strategy. This is the first thing we ask about and everything else depends on it
• Fluency across technical, on-site and off-site SEO, with the judgement to know which lever matters when
• Genuine engagement with AI search: you've been experimenting, measuring citations, thinking about how answer engines choose sources, not just reading about it
• Comfort with commercial accountability: your KPI here is leads and revenue, not rankings and traffic
• The pattern we hire for everywhere: you see an anomaly, you dig into why, you act the same day

• £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience.
• Fully remote, with a London office whenever you want people around you.

How we hire:

Our process is thorough. It starts with your application answers, which are the first stage of assessment, then a short screening call, then a live technical task built from our real data, then a final in-depth interview.

 We use AI to help assess applications: machines check facts, people make judgement calls, and you can ask for a human review of any decision at any point.

One more thing:

Right now, someone is lying awake rehearsing how to tell their family what happened at work today. At 2am they'll give up on sleep and type it into Google. What they find first, a claims farm, a content mill, or a law firm that only ever acts for people like them - us.
