About The Opportunity

As our Data & Insights Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of loyalty performance through data, analytics and actionable insights. In this foundational phase, you'll build and optimise a world class loyalty finance data asset, establishing the reporting frameworks, analytics capability and data first culture that will underpin the program's next stage of growth. Working closely with loyalty, brand, technology and data teams, you will influence strategic decisions and unlock opportunities through advanced analytics and reporting. As the function matures, this role carries genuine potential to lead and mentor - making this a rare opportunity to shape both the technical foundation and future leadership trajectory of loyalty analytics. This role will report into the General Manager of Finance - World360 Rewards and will be an onsite position based out of our South Bank, QLD HQ.

Day to day you'll will
  • Develop and optimise a world class loyalty finance data asset to support strategic decision making and program growth.
  • Analyse and report on loyalty KPIs, including partner billings, earn rates, redemption rates and program effectiveness.
  • Create reporting frameworks and performance dashboards that provide deep insights into loyalty program performance and internal and external partner billings and redemptions.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap for data driven use cases and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
  • Partner with loyalty, brand leadership and data teams to align priorities and maximise program outcomes.
  • Manage priorities, delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead cross functional squads to deliver analytics, business intelligence and reporting initiatives.
  • Foster a performance led, data driven culture across loyalty, customer and broader business teams.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, planning sessions, retrospectives, workshops and communities of practice.
  • Drive adoption of analytics outputs and recommendations to improve loyalty program performance and insights.
  • Build capability and mentor others as the function grows.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected and supported to thrive.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in loyalty program development and optimisation.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with agile ways of working and cross functional team collaboration.
  • Experience working with advanced or predictive analytics techniques is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience using data and analytics to deliver measurable business value and insights.
  • 5+ years' experience in analytics delivery, preferably within retail or customer facing environments.
  • Leadership potential and interest in growing and mentoring a data/analytics capability over time.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, descriptive analytics, reporting and Power BI and finance reconciliations.
