Manager of Healthcare Construction

• Location: Austin, TX
• Facility: Ascension Seton Cove/Hybrid
• Department: Construction
• Schedule: Days l Full-time l 40 hours per week

• Management role that directs the national framework and strategic oversight for healthcare capital projects, leading project managers and high-level budgets from planning to completion.
• Manage all construction phases from initial planning through final project completion; as well as develop detailed project plans and budgets for multiple simultaneous initiatives.
• Coordinate site activities to ensure strict adherence to timelines and financial targets.
• Act as the lead liaison to navigate disputes and maintain alignment with all stakeholders.
• Rigorously track costs to mitigate budget overruns and prevent financial discrepancies.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Engineer preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Additional Preferences:

• Engineer degree not necessary, but any Bachelor's would be preferred.
• PMP is preferred.
• Healthcare and construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Five years of management experience is strongly preferred.
