We're hiring for an impact-driven organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We partner with schools and local authorities to provide innovative and trauma-informed educational support.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs, including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated SEND support team.
• Engage with learners in a child-centred approach while working towards raising educational standards.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science at relevant key stages.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• An enhanced DBS check (assistance can be provided if needed) and 2 professional references.
• The right to work in the United Kingdom.
