Computed Tomography Technologist Weekend Premium

Inova Fair Healthplex/Inova Imaging Beauregard are looking for a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join the team. This role will be a Full-Time Weekend Shift: Fridays at Inova Imaging Beauregard, 6:30am- 7:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays at Inova Healthplex 7am- 7:30pm. CT Technologist (CT Tech) Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography, as evidenced by observations by supervisors and peers.
• Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
• Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy, as evidenced by the lack of mislabeled films, images and EMR charts.
• Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.
• Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records

Additional Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography. ARRT required.
• License: Licensed Radiologic Technologist Within 12 Months State Licensure required for all INOVA non-Hospital Licensed centers but not required if working onsite at an Inova Hospital.
• Certification: American Registered Radiologic Technologists Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Upon Start; Basic Life Support Upon Start; Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
