Cloud Engineer - Dynatrace

SOFT's client is looking for a Cloud Engineer with Dynatrace experience for a long term contract assignment.

Responsibilities: This position is for a role within the Enterprise Observability team. The overall focus is to deploy and maintain Dynatrace Infrastructure components including cluster nodes, active gates and agents across our supported on-prem, cloud and colocation environments. Regular responsibilities include developing and maintaining infrastructure using IaC, CI/CD and automation tooling, patching and upgrading components as needed, system and platform administration and participating in solution design.

Responsibilities:
This position is for a role within the service management team to assist and train the team members working on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud initiative. The primary activities will be to support administration of a sandbox environment, to develop procedures and to provide insight into best practices on configuring the environments within the AWS Cloud. The Cloud Support Engineer help administer and build the AWS sandbox. Responsibilities include instructing the Service Management team in best practices for sizing, administration, tagging, scripting, monitoring, and security for various environment scenarios. The Cloud Support Engineer will provide documentation for best practices and support for Amazon's application development tools to the application developers.

1. Advanced experience with AWS Operations
2. Experience with AWS application development
3. Experience with AWS scripting and monitoring
4. Technical background in both Linux and Windows environments
5. Understanding of databases including basic SQL skills
