Job description

Network DevOps Engineer to automate and modernize enterprise network operations in a hybrid on-premises and Azure environment. This role is ideal for a network engineer who has evolved into NetDevOps, using Python, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and AI coding tools to automate infrastructure and network changes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop network automation using Python, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines for network configuration, validation, and deployment.
  • Automate Cisco and Azure networking using APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Support Cisco routing/switching, SD-WAN, Firepower, F5, and Azure networking.
  • Integrate AI coding tools (Claude Code/GitHub Copilot) into automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support enterprise network operations.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of enterprise networking and NetDevOps experience.
  • Strong Python, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Git, and REST API skills.
  • Experience with Cisco routing/switching, SD-WAN, Azure networking, and F5.
  • Hands-on with ThousandEyes, Forward Networks, or similar monitoring platforms.
  • Cisco Certified DevNet Expert or CCIE Automation (Written & Lab) required.
  • San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid) with occasional travel and participation in an on-call rotation.
