Sr Sales Application Engineer

As a Sr. Application / Systems Sales Engineer at Honeywell, you will help customers and channel partners choose, understand, and apply our building automation solutions. You will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to support sales opportunities, deliver demonstrations and training, and build lasting customer relationships across North America and selected international markets. Responsibilities
Lead customer visits, product demonstrations, and solution presentations with sales teams. Provide pre-sales application support to sales teams, dealers, and channel partners.

Translate customer requirements into practical critical flow control applications. Develop and deliver onboarding, product, application, and sales training. Support key accounts, joint sales calls, trade shows, and industry events. Keep demonstration systems, training materials, and technical documentation ready and current. Share competitive insights and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
5 or more years experience in applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, or sales engineering.
5 or more years experience with building automation, HVAC, airflow control, critical environments, or a related industry. Ability to explain technical solutions clearly through presentations, demonstrations, and training. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. WE VALUE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Knowledge of building controls, HVAC systems, airflow management, or life-safety applications. Experience supporting distributors, dealers, representatives, or other channel partners. Strong customer focus, presentation skills, and ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Ability to work across teams, manage priorities, and adapt in a changing market. The annual base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $152,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
