Integrated Services Officer

Downer’s Road Maintenance & ITS division plays a critical role in keeping Melbourne’s CityLink and West Gate Tunnel networks safe, operational and moving.

We are seeking an Integrated Services Officer to join our team based out of Footscray. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of the road network through a combination of incident response and urgent maintenance activities.

You’ll respond to incidents and disruptions across the network, helping to minimise impacts to motorists and maintain a safe environment for road users and responders. You’ll also support urgent civil and maintenance activities across the network, including pothole repairs, urgent tree works, expansion joint make-safes and other critical works.

This is a shift-based role working across a rotating roster, including day, night and weekend shifts, so flexibility to work across varying shifts is essential.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Current MR Licence
• Traffic Control ticket and Construction White Card, or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in incident response, road maintenance, civil works or a similar operational environment is highly regarded, but not essential
• Tow truck licence highly desirable
• Strong commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to undertake varied duties
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster and overtime when required
• Basic computer skills
