Senior API Developer

We're currently looking for a Senior API Developer to join our financial services client in Sydney on an initial 6 month contract.

Our client need an experienced engineer with a strong background in backend development on complex, scaled systems hosted on cloud. At least 12 months in GCP stack is essential.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience designing and develop scalable backend services using NodeJS
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Experience building and operating scalable solutions in cloud environments including GCP.
• Strong knowledge of databases SQL & NoSQL
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
