Job Title: Workday Product Manager – Adaptive Planning (Functional)

Job Description

  • Lead the Workday Adaptive Planning product roadmap, enhancements, and functional strategy.
  • Drive end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and coordinate system enhancements.
  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning solutions.
  • Configure and maintain Adaptive Planning models, sheets, dimensions, versions, assumptions, and security.
  • Prioritize business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Manage release planning, UAT, change management, and user training activities.
  • Ensure system performance, data integrity, and continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with implementation partners and Workday support teams to resolve complex issues.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, EPM, or Workday solutions.
  • 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Active Workday Pro Certification – Adaptive Planning (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience with Workday Adaptive Planning implementation and production support.
  • Experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Functional Lead.
  • Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Workday Financials integration experience.
  • Knowledge of Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale planning and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
