ITAM - Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst – ITAM

Location: Irving TX / Phoenix, AZ / Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - IT Asset Management (ITAM) to support enterprise IT Asset Management initiatives. This role will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and ServiceNow administrators to gather requirements, improve ITAM processes, and drive successful implementation of IT Asset Management solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ITAM, business analysis, process improvement, stakeholder management, and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for IT Asset Management initiatives.
• Work closely with business users and technical teams to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Support implementation and enhancement of ITAM processes and ServiceNow ITAM modules.
• Create business process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset lifecycle management and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate testing activities including UAT and validate business requirements.
• Support change management, process documentation, and end-user adoption.
• Ensure alignment with IT governance and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ITAM projects successfully.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT Asset Management initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management processes and lifecycle.
• Experience working with ServiceNow ITAM (SAM Pro and/or HAM Pro preferred).
• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, BRDs, and functional specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow ITAM implementation or enhancement experience.
• Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
• Experience with ITIL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT environments.
