Salesforce B2B Commerce Solution Architect

Responsibilities

·         Own the technical solution design for the B2B Commerce storefront, including site foundation, theming, and navigation

·         Design the entitlement resolution model (subscription access, a la carte permissions, per-contributor restrictions) and its supporting Apex service layer

·         Architect the two-pricebook Sales Cloud model (Standard Sales pricebook plus A La Carte pricebook) and the automated Product2/PricebookEntry creation pattern

·         Design the inbound (AWS to Salesforce) and outbound (Salesforce to AWS) integration patterns, including staging objects, platform events, and retry/circuit-breaker handling

·         Guide the custom LWC build (content browse, asset renderer, lightboxes, saved feeds, homepage personalization) and ensure it holds up against the entitlement engine at scale

·         Lead solutioning conversations with the Business Consultant, developers, and TCA stakeholders; surface risks and design trade-offs early

·         Support Discovery workshops and the requirements/design review sessions

Qualifications

·         Strong hands-on Salesforce B2B Commerce architecture experience, ideally including entitlement-driven or subscription-based commerce models

·         Deep Apex and LWC development background, including integration patterns (REST, platform events, named credentials, Bulk API 2.0)

·         Experience designing multi-pricebook Sales Cloud architectures

·         Comfort owning technical solution design independently in a subcontractor capacity, with light day-to-day oversight

·         Sales Cloud Consultant certification preferred; B2B Commerce Developer or Architect credential a plus

·         Strong written and verbal communication; able to work directly with client stakeholders when needed
