The Role
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and available.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other OR staff.
- Manage and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Support the smooth and efficient running of the operating theatre.
What You'll Need
- Completed vocational training as an Operating Room Assistant (OTA) or a qualification as a registered nurse with relevant OR experience or specialization.
- A meticulous and organized approach to work.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Valid driver's license (Class B).
