Job Title: CCB Test Lead
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-Term
 
Define and own the test strategy and master test plan for CCB (billing, customer account management, meter-to-cash) and AMI (meter data collection, head-end systems, MDM integration) initiatives.
  • Lead test planning, estimation, and scheduling across functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT phases, aligned to TCoE templates and governance standards.
  • Design and oversee test scenarios for end-to-end meter-to-cash flows: meter reads, usage validation, billing determinants, rate application, and exception/estimation handling.
  • Validate AMI data flows between head-end systems (HES), meter data management (MDM), and CCB, including interval data, on-demand reads, outage/restoration signals, and tamper/alarm events.
  • Coordinate integration testing across CCB, AMI/MDM, OMS, WMS, eGIS, and any middleware/ESB layers to confirm data consistency and correct exception handling.
  • Establish and track defect management processes, triage severity/priority, and drive root-cause resolution with development, functional, and vendor teams.
  • Build and maintain test metrics and dashboards (execution status, defect trends, coverage, tower-level KPIs) for TCoE and stakeholder reporting.
  • Guide test automation strategy for CCB/AMI regression suites, leveraging tools such as UFT/UFT Developer, and support CI/CD-aligned execution where applicable.
  • Mentor and provide day-to-day direction to test engineers/analysts; review test cases, scripts, and evidence for quality and completeness.
  • Support cutover, data migration, and go-live readiness activities, including production validation and post-implementation defect triage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements relevant to billing accuracy and metering data integrity.
