The Role

• Manage and coordinate the nursing schedule to ensure optimal patient care coverage.
• Identify and address potential improvements in nursing department staffing effectiveness.
• Assist and advise supervisors on any challenges or issues related to the nursing schedule.
• Ensure all employee, contract, and student files comply with regulatory standards.
• Schedule and inform nursing staff of their assigned shifts under the supervision of leadership.
• Draft professional communications, reports, and presentations.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission and regulatory compliance standards is a plus.
