Job Description

Morgan Law is delighted to be working with the Royal Parks to help find a Senior Project Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Project Manager will lead the project to replace their estates and asset management capability with a dedicated system and new approach.
In this role, you will take the programme from mobilisation and business case development through procurement and, subject to approval, into supplier mobilisation, implementation, data migration, testing, business readiness and transition to live service.
You'll take end-to-end ownership of programme delivery, ensuring plans, milestones and dependencies are effectively managed and outcomes are achieved. Partnering with stakeholders across the business, Procurement, Finance and suppliers, you'll drive decision-making, governance, system implementation and change delivery. To be considered as a Senior IT Project Manager, you will need:

  • Substantial experience of managing complex, cross-functional, technology-enabled business change or enterprise system programmes
  • Comfortable working across business case development, procurement, delivery controls, implementation and transition into live operation
  • Strong project management discipline and the ability to turn complex activity into clear plans, decisions, ownership and delivery
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, business owners, Finance, Procurement, technical teams and external suppliers
  • Experience of requirements, process redesign, data migration, systems integration, testing and business-readiness activity
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to balance business, financial, commercial, data and technical considerations without needing to be the subject-matter expert in each area

Ideal candidates will have worked within the Charity or Public Sector and have implemented asset management, property, estates, facilities management or works-management systems.
The role is paying 70-75,000pa and looking for someone who is available to start in October.
