Job Description

Role: Scrum Master

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: Full Time (FTE)

Job Description:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Coach the development team and Product Owner on Agile best practices and Scrum principles.
  • Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown, and team capacity to ensure predictable delivery.
  • Identify, escalate, and remove impediments impacting sprint commitments.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Monitor project risks, blockers, and delivery milestones while ensuring adherence to Agile practices.
  • Maintain Agile artifacts in Jira and Confluence, including user stories, sprint boards, dashboards, and reports.
  • Facilitate release planning and ensure alignment between sprint deliverables and business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospective action items and process optimization.
  • Support engineering teams working on Full Stack Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, Oracle, AWS, and CI/CD environments.
  • Prepare and present Agile delivery metrics and project status to leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing Agile team culture.
