Systems Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Systems Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville, FL .

Responsibilities :
Sr. IT Systems Engineer - WebSphere to Cloudpak migration, Tomcat/NodeJS Support with CMS 9/12 Audit + JSM support to provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.

• Responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of websphere/Liberty/nodeJS/WebLogic solutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting etc.
• Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies
• Reason for Request: WebSphere to Cloudpak migration, Tomcat/NodeJS Support with CMS 9/12 Audit + JSM support etc.

Required Skills :

• Related Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology
• Should be conversant with websphere migrations along with Liberty, IHS, netscaler configurations.
• Tomcat servers experience and other opensource web servers experience is also required for this particular assignment.
• Experience in SOC2/ OIG/CMS auditing preparation, JSM submission, Vulnerability management and applying the patches for the Audit remediation etc is a must.
• Should be able to do coding in common languages in case of necessities for system's monitoring and other related functionalities.
• Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
• Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
• Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Experience using Agile methodology

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in CloudPak/OpenShift platform devopts nodejs administration Jenkins, GIT lab etc is a plus
