Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer / SME remote

Position Summary
The Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert supporting modernization initiatives across compute, storage, virtualization, Windows, Linux, and automation domains. This role addresses a critical skills gap in scripting, automation, pipeline development, and infrastructure-as-code practices. The engineer will work closely with client stakeholders to deliver high-impact, outcome-driven infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Execute infrastructure modernization projects with defined outcomes and measurable success criteria.
Design and implement automation frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
Automate deployment processes across on-premises and virtualized environments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code assets using modern languages and tools.
Provide senior-level support across compute, storage, virtualization, Windows, and Linux platforms.
Identify and remove technical obstacles to ensure project momentum and successful delivery.
Collaborate directly with client teams, providing SME-level guidance and technical leadership.
