Job Description

Overview
The Vice President, Growth Marketing is responsible for driving growth strategies across the Sun Communities and Sun Outdoors brands through partnership with property and operations leaders. By building strong stakeholder relationships, understanding business objectives, and developing tailored strategies, the team aligns and mobilizes Marketing Centers of Excellence to deliver measurable results.

Translates business needs into clear briefs and mobilizes the Centers of Excellence (Brand & Creative, Performance/Digital, and MarTech) into one integrated activation, conducting the marketing engine rather than owning individual channels. (Essential)
Builds and runs integrated go-to-market plans that connect brand, demand generation, and marketing technology into cohesive campaigns tied to business results. (Essential)
Establishes portfolio priorities and marketing plans based on property performance, business objectives, and market conditions. (Essential)
Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.

Monitors marketing performance, reports growth impact to leadership, identifies opportunities for improvement, and recommends corrective actions to keep plans on track to occupancy and revenue targets. Leads marketing planning and resource allocation activities to maximize business results and operational efficiency. Forecasts changes and communicates potential issues and opportunities affecting portfolio performance. Facilitates a positive and collaborative work environment among property, operations, and marketing teams.

Provides input into marketing strategy and strategic planning as a member of the marketing leadership team. Other duties and special projects, as assigned.
