The role combines electrical installation, servicing, planned maintenance and fault-finding across a range of commercial sites.

You’ll be working with electrical and control equipment including control panels, sensors, motors, fans and variable speed drives, with full training provided on the company’s specialist systems and equipment.

This could suit an experienced Maintenance Electrician, Mobile Electrical Engineer, Electrical Service Engineer or Installation Engineer looking for a varied field-based role with plenty of autonomy.

Typical responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical installation and commissioning
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance and fault-finding
  • Diagnosing and replacing faulty electrical components
  • Working with motors, fans, sensors and control equipment
  • Carrying out site surveys and inspections
  • Completing service reports and documentation
  • Working independently across customer sites
  • Liaising directly with customers and site representatives

You should have:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Hands-on electrical installation or maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Comfortable working in a mobile/field-based role

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Control panels
  • Motors and pumps
  • Three-phase systems
  • Inverters / VFDs
  • HVAC / AHUs
  • BMS
  • Commissioning
  • Inspection & Testing / 2391
  • ECS card

You do not need experience with the company’s specific equipment, as full product and system training will be provided.

Hours & Package

  • Up to £50,000
  • Company van
  • Fuel card
  • Tools and equipment provided
  • 40-hour working week
  • Travel time included within working hours
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Full specialist training
  • Long-term development opportunities

Some installation work is carried out outside normal daytime hours, typically averaging around four evening jobs per month. These hours form part of the normal 40-hour working week, with time taken back elsewhere.

This is a good opportunity for an electrically strong engineer looking to move into a specialist mobile role with training, autonomy and long-term progression.
