Full Time -- Lead Google Cloud Platform Engineer

Leadership & Strategy

Successfully execute the long-term Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives

Collaborate with business, engineering, product, and security leaders to drive platform adoption Cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)

Establish a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement

Mentor and build high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, Agile, and DevOps.

 

Cloud Infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)

Oversee scalable, secure, and highly available systems on Google Cloud Platform

Management of Google Resources (Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, VertexAI, BigQuery, GCS etc. )

Implement and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform 

Drive multi-region and disaster recovery strategies

  

Security & Compliance

Partner with security, governance, and networking teams for infrastructure setup & maintenance

 

Cost Optimization (FinOps)

Drive cloud cost governance and optimization strategies

Implement monitoring, budgeting, and rightsizing practices

Improve cost visibility and accountability across teams

• Technical leadership and strategic thinking
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Automation-first mindset
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services
• Strong experience with Terraform 
• Familiarity with data/analytics platforms (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow etc.)
• Experience in faster, more efficient software delivery through mature DevOps practices
• Google Cloud Platform certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect)
