Applications Development Analyst (Salesforce)

We are seeking an experienced Applications Development Analyst (Salesforce) with 10+ years of Salesforce development experience to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, API integrations, and Salesforce security while leading complex technical initiatives. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, develop scalable Salesforce applications, support deployments, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications following Salesforce best practices.
• Customize and extend Salesforce functionality to support business requirements.
• Review and optimize existing Salesforce org configuration, custom code, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain:
  • Apex Classes
  • Apex Triggers
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Visualforce Pages
• Configure Salesforce:
  • Custom Objects
  • Fields
  • Validation Rules
  • Record Types
  • Workflows
  • Flows
  • Process Automation
• Build and maintain API integrations with external and enterprise applications.
• Implement Salesforce security including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and optimize application performance.
• Deploy Salesforce enhancements using established change management processes.
• Create technical documentation for all customizations, integrations, and deployment activities.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for the client''s technical team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of Salesforce Platform development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Apex Programming

  • Batch Apex
  • Queueable Apex
  • Scheduled Apex
  • Governor Limits
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Extensive experience writing and optimizing:
  • SOQL

• Strong expertise in:
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
  • CSS
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow and Declarative Process Automation.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Security Model:
  • Roles
  • Profiles
  • Permission Sets
  • Sharing Rules
• Experience leading complex Salesforce development projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce production deployments and troubleshooting deployment issues.

Required Salesforce Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Platform Developer
• Salesforce Platform App Builder

• Experience serving as a Salesforce Technical Lead or Solution Lead.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Salesforce deployment tools is a plus.
