Certified Sterile Processing Tech

●    Location: Murfreesboro, TN

●    Department: Sterile Processing
●    Schedule: Evenings l Full-time
●    Sign-on bonus: $5,000

•    Operates sterilization equipment and inspects instruments, equipment, and containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
•    Performs decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols.
•    Corrects instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets and/or instrument tracking systems.
•    Maintains proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts.
•    Performs regular quality assurance program audits of peers.

Required Credential(s)
One or more of the following:
●    BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
●    Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
●    High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
