Job Title: Pega Business Analyst Pega Blueprint, Pega Cloud & AI Initiatives
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking Business Analyst (BA) with exposure to Pega Blueprint, Pega Cloud, AI-driven initiatives, and innovation-focused projects. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technology solutions, helping organizations modernize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation using emerging Pega capabilities and AI-powered solutions.
The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate business needs into actionable functional specifications.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Participate in process discovery, requirements analysis, and solution design activities using Pega Blueprint.
  • Support business process modernization and application transformation initiatives leveraging Pega Platform capabilities.
  • Work with teams implementing or evaluating Pega Cloud, including cloud-based application modernization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven capabilities, workflow automation, and intelligent decision-making to improve business outcomes.
  • Support innovation-focused projects by evaluating business challenges and recommending technology-enabled solutions.
  • Prepare business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, requirement walkthroughs, and backlog refinement sessions.
  • Collaborate with Pega developers, solution architects, QA teams, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release validation.
  • Track requirements, manage changes, resolve business-process questions, and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Help assess the impact of AI and automation initiatives on existing workflows, business operations, and user experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst on enterprise application development, digital transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to Pega Blueprint for process discovery, application design, or requirements definition.
  • Familiarity with Pega Cloud and cloud-based application delivery concepts.
  • Understanding of AI-driven initiatives, intelligent automation, and innovation-focused technology projects.
  • Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience preparing user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Pega implementation, modernization, or transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Pega Platform capabilities, case management, workflow automation, and business rules.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled business solutions, generative AI use cases, or intelligent process automation.
  • Experience in innovation labs, proof-of-concept initiatives, or emerging-technology projects.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technology requirements and measurable outcomes.
