Product Designer (Product Enablement)

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Designer, Product Engagement for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Francisco, CA.

This is a short term contract to start, through 11/30/26.

Responsibilities:

• Design in-app experiences including engagement, onboarding, contextual guidance, and feature discovery
• Contribute to flexible systems and experiences that scale across surfaces and user types, from emerging creators to seasoned professionals
• Apply strong fluency in design system documentation and Figma best practices to ensure consistency, maintainability, and seamless collaboration with engineering and other pro app partners
• Think across the user journey, spotting gaps and connecting dots within your area of focus
• Partner with product, engineering, growth, research, and marketing to align design work with measurable outcomes
• Contribute to alignment across partners by bringing clear, well-synthesized design proposals
• Stay hands-on through implementation reviewing builds, flagging gaps, and upholding the quality bar on accessibility and craft

Required Skills:

• 3-5+ years of UX and visual design experience on complex, cross-functional projects
• Familiarity with professional creative tools with an understanding of pro video, motion, design, and illustration workflows and the needs of both emerging and expert creators
• Experience designing contextual guidance, with a clear point of view on moving users from confusion to confidence
• A self-directed problem solver who can take a defined scope and execute with minimal oversight
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to prototype, explore, and accelerate product design workflows
• Familiarity with growth and engagement frameworks, and comfort using both qual and quant input to inform decisions
• Strong visual and interaction craft, including typography, hierarchy, motion, and micro-interactions
• Communicates clearly and keeps partners informed and aligned throughout the engagement
• Designs inclusively and globally, with working knowledge of accessibility standards and sensitivity to language, culture, and regional norms
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
