Location: Hybrid, Okemos, Michigan

Overview: 3+ yerars of related experience. This role is for a mid-level Data Engineer who helps move, clean, and organize large amounts of business data so the company can use it for reporting and analytics.

Core Responsibilities

• Move and Clean Data (ETL): Pull data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into central storage systems.
• Maintain the Central Data Warehouse: Keep the main company database (on-premises) and smaller reporting databases running smoothly using tools like Informatica and PL/SQL.
• Bridge On-Premises to Cloud: Set up automated pipelines that stream data in real-time from legacy internal servers up to cloud systems like Snowflake and apps like Salesforce.
• Automate & Standardize: Write scripts so manual data processes run automatically, and help write best-practice guidelines for the team.
• On-Call Duty: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to fix data pipeline breaks or system issues.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in data engineering.
• Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen (native or naturalized) and eligible for ADP I or II clearance due to system access requirements.
• Databases: Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server.
• Tools & Languages: Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL) and Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS / IDMC).
• Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, focus on automation, and solid team communication.

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience building and managing data solutions directly inside Snowflake.
