Job Description

Eightcap operates at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and global financial markets. Headquartered in Melbourne with a global footprint spanning the UK, Cyprus, and Bulgaria, we build the high-performance infrastructure that connects the world to CFD markets - reliably, securely and with precision.

The People & Culture team at Eightcap is looking for a P&C / Office Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate is someone who keeps things running smoothly and makes everyone else’s day easier, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and a knack for juggling office logistics and people admin. You will own the day-to-day running of our Melbourne office while supporting key P&C functions, from onboarding to compliance.

To drive real impact in this role, you will:

  • Be the Office Go-To: Act as the first point of contact for all office queries, responding promptly and professionally via Slack, email, phone or face-to-face.
  • Manage the Melbourne Office: Oversee daily operations, supplies, equipment, vendors, mail, rostering and internal communications to keep the space organised and productive.
  • Bring People Together: Coordinate staff engagement, wellness programs, boardroom meetings, and company events like town halls, EOFY and Christmas parties.
  • Keep Everyone Safe: Act as our OHS representative, supporting safety audits, incident reporting and first aid coordination.
  • Deliver a Great Start: Manage new starter welcomes, office orientation and onboarding and offboarding so every transition feels seamless.
  • Power the P&C Engine: Maintain contracts, policies and employee records, and support training initiatives and payroll preparation.
  • Protect Compliance: Help the P&C team uphold employment laws and company policies, including VEVO checks to verify work rights.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience as an office assistant, administrator or in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisation and time management, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with solid problem-solving and decision-making.
  • The ability to stay composed under pressure and handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Bonus, not essential: Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • An interest in trading, FX or general finance would be highly advantageous!

We have built a performance-driven environment where you’re given the autonomy to drive change and the accountability to own the results. We provide a space for the ambitious, adaptable and collaborative to deliver outcomes that fuel our success while building the skills and experience that defines a career.

We also support you through:

  • Ongoing investment in your career development, including technical and professional training.
  • Wellness and lifestyle perks, such as monthly corporate massages.
  • Drinks every Friday.
  • Parental leave entitlements.
  • Staff referral bonus programme.
  • Annual flu vaccinations.
  • Purchased leave.
  • Novated leasing options for vehicle financing and management.
  • A great CBD location with easy access to public transport.
  • A multicultural, collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Being part of exciting new projects for the company.
  • Regular social activities.

Don’t check every box? Apply anyway. We value talent, grit, and the drive to execute over a perfect resume. If you’re ready to grow with us, we’re ready to meet you.
