The Role

• Lead and oversee the hospital's accounting system and all financial operations, including billing, AR, cash receipts, collections, AP, payroll, GL, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and audits.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets, and necessary state financial reports.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency in collaboration with hospital leadership and corporate teams.
• Participate actively in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards as required.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.
• Foster a collaborative environment, celebrating team achievements and driving success.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
• A minimum of five years of hospital accounting experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management, analysis, and leadership principles, typically gained through extensive accounting or healthcare operations experience.
• Proven experience in financial management, revenue analysis, expense management, and contract negotiation.
• Solid experience in budgeting, including both capital planning and operational budgeting.
• Expertise in establishing and executing robust internal control environments.
