Mechanical Engineer

Healthcare experience is not essential, however, as a minimum, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience working with large complex ventilation systems in both new build and refurbishment developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an M&E Team in the coordination and delivery of individual projects, including attendance at meetings, internal programming, project reviews etc.
• Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to mechanical installations.
• Design mechanical installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards.

Requirements

• HNC/HND in relevant engineering subject e.g. Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• Specialist interests or qualifications, e.g. renewable energy, low carbon design, BREEAM, lighting design, LCC registration or other relevant topics
• Experience in Modelling software, e.g. IES
• Experience in BIM/Revit 3d Modelling
