Location: Birmingham

Salary: 27,000 - 29,000 per annum

Our client is a well-established specialist manufacturer with over 100 years of industry expertise. They supply high-quality components to sectors including construction, aerospace, and engineering, serving an international customer base.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing general office and administrative support
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, handling queries and providing excellent service
• Processing customer orders and production schedules
• Monitoring and analysing customer demand and product requirements
• Maintaining accurate customer records and data
• Using a variety of IT systems, customer portals and Microsoft Office applications
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently
• Supporting the external sales team with administrative and coordination tasks
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A confident, professional and friendly approach
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
