Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite)

Role Overview

A Training Developer/Instructor with 5 to 10 years of experience plays a key role in creating, developing, and delivering effective training programs for employees. This position involves designing training materials, facilitating training sessions, and evaluating the success of training initiatives. This role is instrumental in creating high-quality training programs that enable employees to develop the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles and contributes to the overall success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create and develop training materials, including manuals, e-learning courses, videos, and presentations.
  • Develop and organize training curricula, ensuring content is structured logically and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Design engaging and interactive training materials that incorporate adult learning principles and various instructional methods.
  • Facilitate training sessions in-person, virtually, or through webinars, ensuring content is effectively delivered to participants.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems for course registration, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and adjust content as needed.
  • Update training materials and content to reflect changes in policies, procedures, technology, and industry standards.
  • Gather feedback from participants to make continuous improvements to training programs.
  • Tailor training content to meet the specific needs of different departments or job roles within the organization.
  • Ensure that training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant performance.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or a related field is required.

Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in training development and delivery, with a proven track record of creating and facilitating effective training programs is required.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in using instructional design software and Learning Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and assessment techniques.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and educate a diverse audience.
  • Project management and organizational skills to manage multiple training initiatives.
  • Analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and creativity in designing training content to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Must stay current with training technology and tools to enhance training program quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications in instructional design or training are a plus.
