What would you do?

Role – Sr. Data Analyst – Digital Experience
Location – McLean, VA (5 Days Onsite)

Description: We have an urgent need for a Data Analyst to join our Digital Experience team. This individual will help identify, track, and report on the benefits of several strategic technology initiatives.

The initial focus will be PDM (Predictive Delivery Methodology), which is modernizing our software delivery methodology to increase automation across the delivery lifecycle — from testing through deployment — while reducing delivery risk.

This role is responsible for defining and tracking success metrics, establishing baselines, measuring benefits realization, analyzing trends, and developing reporting that demonstrates the impact of these investments. The analyst will partner closely with product and technology teams to translate data into meaningful insights and executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and track success metrics for strategic technology initiatives, beginning with PDM.

- Establish baselines and measurement frameworks to support benefits tracking.

- Measure benefits realization and quantify the impact of technology investments.

- Analyze trends, identify drivers, gaps, and risks across the delivery lifecycle.

- Develop reporting, dashboards, and executive-level materials that demonstrate initiative impact.

- Partner closely with product and technology teams to translate data into meaningful insights.

- Support reporting on automation across testing, deployment, and related delivery processes.

- Help demonstrate how modernization efforts reduce delivery risk and improve delivery performance.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and appropriate governance across reporting.

- Continuously refine metrics and reporting approaches as initiatives evolve.

Key Deliverables:

- Success metrics framework for strategic technology initiatives.

- Baselines for PDM and related delivery modernization efforts.

- Benefits realization tracking and measurement.

- Trend analysis and insight reporting.

- Executive-level dashboards and reporting.

- Clear narratives that connect data to business and technology outcomes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in data analysis, business analysis, benefits realization, or performance measurement.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, establish baselines, and measure outcomes.

- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and executive-level insights.

- Ability to work with product and technology teams and translate technical data into business language.

- Strong communication and stakeholer management skills.

- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI platforms e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

- Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy. 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with PDM, delivery methodology modernization, or technology benefits realization.

- Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle, DevOps, automation, testing, and deployment metrics.

- Experience in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, or similar delivery environments.

- Familiarity with value tracking, investment reporting, or portfolio benefits measurement.
