<> Senior Security Engineer Security Architecture Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with strong experience in security architecture, network security assessments, penetration testing, and Azure security. This role will assess on-premises and Azure environments, identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and strengthen enterprise security controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing across on-premises networks and Azure environments.
  • Evaluate network security architecture, controls, firewalls, and cloud security configurations.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, risks, and compliance gaps and drive remediation.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Application Development, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Integrate security controls and automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assess Azure services including Azure Firewall, NSGs, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and Azure Gateway.
  • Provide guidance on IAM, data protection, secure connectivity, and application/network security integration.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices aligned with NIST, CIS, OWASP, and other industry frameworks.
  • Prepare security assessment reports and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support incident response activities related to network and application security.
  • Stay current with Azure security capabilities, emerging threats, and security best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in network/security engineering with hands-on on-premises and Azure experience.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, network security, and application security integration.
  • Experience with manual and automated security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Knowledge of SSDLC and DevSecOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure security services and controls.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred.
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CEH, CCSP , or related security certifications.
