Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Location: Remote (United States)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to help design, build, and evolve modern digital products and platforms.

In this individual contributor role, you will own end-to-end delivery across both front-end and back-end systems, designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and operating software that is scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable. You will partner closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to transform business needs and customer requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Success in this role requires strong engineering fundamentals, a product-focused mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development

• Design and build modern web and mobile experiences using technologies such as:
  • TypeScript
  • React / Next.js
  • React Native
  • Flutter
  • GraphQL
• Deliver end-to-end features from design through production deployment.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and resilient systems that support long-term growth.
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical designs, code reviews, and design discussions.

Platform Engineering & DevOps

• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices, including security automation, code scanning, and release management.
• Improve platform observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes.
• Support deployment, hosting, and runtime operations across distributed environments.

Engineering Excellence

• Establish and maintain coding standards, testing strategies, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Produce clear documentation for technical designs, implementation approaches, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, platform capabilities, and development workflows.
• Reduce technical debt through thoughtful design and continuous modernization efforts.

• Own key areas of platform design, implementation, and ongoing evolution.
• Evaluate technical solutions and make recommendations based on business and engineering trade-offs.
• Take accountability for system quality, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Proactively identify technical risks, performance concerns, and architectural challenges before they become production issues.

Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with web, mobile, platform, security, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Share knowledge through technical documentation, design reviews, mentoring, and code reviews.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, customer-facing applications in production environments.
• Strong full-stack engineering expertise across modern web and mobile development technologies.
• Expert-level proficiency with:
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • Next.js
  • React
  • React Native
  • Flutter
  • Swift
  • Kotlin
• Strong experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including database design and performance optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Experience supporting mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience integrating with third-party services, identity providers, payment systems, and external APIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience building real-time or near-real-time applications and services.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience supporting high-growth products with significant scale and performance requirements.
• Familiarity with security best practices for modern web and mobile applications.
