Job Description

Pediatrician (m/f/d) for Neuropediatric Training | Amerang, Germany | On-site We are a leading national medical center specializing in pediatric neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, and epileptology, recognized for its expertise in pediatric epilepsy surgery and rehabilitation. Our interdisciplinary approach and strong academic affiliations provide a dynamic environment for advancing patient care and medical innovation. The Role • Undergo structured neuropediatric training with consideration for individual specialization interests. • Gain experience across all facets of the specialized center, including epilepsy surgery monitoring, conservative epileptology, intermediate care, and rehabilitation. • Develop expertise in diagnostics and therapies, including EEG and MRI interpretation, motor skills assessment, assistive device provision, and botulinum toxin treatment. • Specialize in epileptology through in-depth training in video-EEG long-term monitoring (non-invasive and invasive) and intraoperative monitoring. • Contribute to a certified epilepsy center renowned for pre-surgical diagnostic evaluations and advanced epilepsy surgery. • Receive individualized 1:1 supervision and teaching from senior epileptologists to foster professional growth. What You'll Need • A strong interest in neuropediatrics and epileptology; prior experience is advantageous but not required. • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of working within an interdisciplinary medical team. • Demonstrated empathy and dedication to caring for children with complex and chronic neurological conditions and their families. • A medical degree and relevant professional qualifications.
