POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales & Support Manager is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and strategic support to the sales team, specifically related to corporate product supply, quoting, and product technical assistance. Work closely with sales representatives and leaders to improve the sales process, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate projects to assure that engineering and manufacturing processes are performed to customer expectations.
• Assist in new product introduction.
• Coordinate Engineering solutions based on sound engineering, application and pricing philosophies. This includes design and technical order processing.
• Generates job related component layouts, wiring diagrams, and other graphic information as required, utilizing CAD and other design tools. Special consideration must be given to production and material cost aspects of the design function.
• Provide product application assistance to sales force and customers.
• Assist product managers with product marketing programs.
• Update technical and pricing documentation.
• Assist in conducting training programs.
• Assess overall department performance and capacity. Apply feedback where needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to navigate complex topics between production, engineering, sales, and service.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 5-7 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering a plus.
