Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Test Architect with strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright and other automation testing tools, along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and validate functionality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
  • Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and recommend quality improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing processes, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Playwright automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium.
  • Experience with automation tools such as WinRunner, QTP (UFT), Silk Test, and TestComplete.
  • Strong knowledge of automation framework design and implementation.
  • Experience with functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of test planning, test case creation, and defect management.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience working in enterprise application testing environments.
  • Relevant QA or automation testing certifications are a plus.
