About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Data Cloud & Google Cloud Platform Integration Architect to bridge the gap between our enterprise data warehouse ecosystem on Google Cloud and our customer engagement layer on Salesforce. In this role, you will architect, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, zero-copy data exchanges, and real-time streaming architectures that unify massive volumes of enterprise data with Salesforce Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Design end-to-end data architectures linking Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) data services with Salesforce Data Cloud to achieve a unified, real-time customer 360 view.
• Data Integration & Pipelines: Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from Google Cloud Platform sources (BigQuery, Cloud Storage buckets, Pub/Sub streams) into Salesforce Data Cloud using native connectors, APIs, or custom middleware.
• Zero-Copy & Federation Strategy: Leverage modern cloud federation patterns (such as Google BigQuery zero-copy integrations with Salesforce Data Cloud) to query and share data seamlessly without expensive data replication.
• Data Modeling & Harmonization: Map enterprise data models into Salesforce Data Cloud’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) data model, establishing identity resolution rules, data streams, and unified profiles.
• Activation & Segmentation: Configure complex segmentation rules, calculated insights, and data activation workflows within Salesforce Data Cloud to power personalized marketing, sales, and service experiences.
• Data Governance & Security: Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) by implementing robust data governance, access controls, and encryption standards across both Google Cloud Platform and Salesforce ecosystems.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows, query performance, and pipeline latency to control cloud computing costs and maximize processing throughput.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 3–5 years specializing in enterprise data architecture, cloud integrations, and customer data platforms.
• Salesforce Expertise:
• Hands-on implementation experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP).
• Deep understanding of Data Streams, Data Spaces, Identity Resolution, Segmentations, and Activations.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant, Certified System/Application Architect).
• Google Cloud Platform Expertise:
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform core data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Dataflow / Dataproc.
• Strong mastery of SQL and data warehouse performance tuning in BigQuery.
• Experience with cloud orchestration tools (e.g., Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow).
• Integration & Development: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures, Python, or Node.js for custom integration layers.
• Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into business value for executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing "Zero-Copy" architectures between cloud warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake) and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with reverse-ETL tools (e.g., Census, Hightouch) or enterprise service buses (MuleSoft).
• Professional Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
