Job Description
Seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to join our growing team. The engineer will be responsible for engineering, administering, integrating, operating, and continuously improving enterprise AI platforms and services. The role will initially support OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini, with a focus on reliable enterprise operations, integrations, security, access controls, automation, monitoring, and governance.
Job Responsibilities:
Engineer, administer, and continuously improve enterprise AI platforms and supporting technical services.
Support OpenAI/ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and related enterprise AI technologies.
Design and implement APIs, connectors, AI agents, RAG, knowledge sources, automation, and enterprise integrations.
Establish platform administration, configuration, access control, service onboarding, change, and lifecycle-management standards.
Implement SSO, RBAC, IAM, service identities, permissions, and least-privilege access controls.
Implement approved security, privacy, compliance, data protection, and AI governance requirements.
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, usage, licensing, cost, and service reliability processes.
Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, authentication, authorization, data-access, agent, performance, and availability issues.
Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, CI/CD, or workflow automation tools.
Maintain architecture documentation, standards, configuration baselines, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and escalation support for enterprise AI platform services.
Required Skills & Experience:
4–7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, systems engineering, DevOps, enterprise application administration, automation, security engineering, or related technical disciplines.
2+ years of meaningful experience with AI, generative AI, intelligent automation, machine learning platforms, or related enterprise AI technologies preferred.
Hands-on experience engineering or operating enterprise cloud/SaaS platforms, integrations, APIs, identity controls, and technical support processes.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across cloud services, applications, identity, permissions, APIs, integrations, and data access.
Working knowledge of enterprise AI platforms and the ability to support multiple AI ecosystems.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, RBAC/IAM, SSO, service identities, permissions, and least-privilege access.
Ability to translate security, privacy, governance, and compliance requirements into practical technical controls.
Strong technical documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Hands-on experience with OpenAI/ChatGPT and OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio/Azure AI, or Google Gemini/Vertex AI.
Experience implementing AI agents, RAG/grounding, enterprise search, knowledge integration, tool/function calling, or API orchestration.
Experience with Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD, workflow automation, or comparable technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID or comparable identity platforms, OAuth/OIDC/SAML, RBAC, service principals/service accounts, secrets, and access reviews.
Experience implementing AI security, privacy, data-loss prevention, logging/audit, records/data handling, responsible AI, or governance requirements.
Experience with IT service-management practices including incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, monitoring, escalation, and service ownership.
Experience operating technology in a large-enterprise, government, regulated, or control-intensive environment.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
