The Role

• Gain comprehensive insights into areas such as socio-psychiatric support, educational assistance, and pedagogical support in schools.
• Support colleagues in providing practical, goal-oriented, and pedagogical guidance within individual living environments, family life, and education.
• Work in specialized fields including childhood pedagogy, social work with adults, child and youth welfare, and school-based social work.
• Participate in practical phases with a local partner company.
• Prepare for a career as a social worker in various specialized fields.

What You'll Need

• (Technical) college entrance qualification (Fachabitur), a qualified vocational qualification, or equivalent (e.g., certified technician or business administrator).
• German language proficiency at B2 level.
• High levels of diligence, responsibility, and discretion.
• Empathy, compassion, enjoyment of working with people, and resilience.
• Previous experience in a voluntary social year (FSJ), federal volunteer service, or other volunteer work is advantageous.
