Senior Scrum Master

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Senior Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent facilitation skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement across distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and best practices.

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Remove impediments to team progress and escalate issues as needed.

Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure product backlog is well-groomed and prioritized.

Promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment that encourages transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Track and communicate team velocity, burn-down, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.

Foster Agile maturity within teams and across the organization.

Work closely with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.

Support team members in adopting Agile practices and tools.

Ensure timely delivery of features and projects while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.

Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Program Consultant) are preferred.

Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
