Job Description

Join a top-tier consumer electronics company in Cupertino, CA, as a System Integration Test Lead. In this role, you will partner with Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to drive system-level manufacturing test readiness for next-generation hardware. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who excels in high-pressure, cross-functional New Product Introduction (NPI) environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead manufacturing test readiness from Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) to final assembly across all NPI phases.
Plan and execute build dry runs, identifying risks prior to full production and delivering daily status reports to engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve test-related bottlenecks during builds to maintain strict project timelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams to align on goals and ensure product quality standards are met.
Continuously optimize test processes, methodologies, and quality criteria for maximum efficiency and product maturity.

Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS in Systems, Electrical, or Software Engineering (or a related field).
3+ years of industry experience in product engineering testing and development.
Deep knowledge of hardware and system-level fundamentals, specifically within complex systems design.
Strong failure analysis and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to navigate rapid, ambiguous NPI cycles and adapt quickly to shifting project directions.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of distilling complex issues for diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in MacOS and iOS environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience guiding consumer electronics to mass production alongside international OEM partners.
Direct background in hardware and software test validation methodologies.
Familiarity with embedded system integration and program management.
Domain expertise in one or more of the following: Acoustics, Displays, Touch, Imaging/Motion Sensors, PCBA, Power, or Batteries.

Compensation: $62.00 – $90.00 / hour (DOE)
