HR Business Partner

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an HR Business Partner III for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare clients in Oakland, CA .

Responsibilities :

• The HR Business Partner III will provide onsite HR support for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, helping maintain consistent day-to-day HR coverage for leaders and employees.
• This individual-contributor role will serve as an HR partner to the assigned organization, responding to operational HR needs, supporting workforce and employee-related matters, and helping leaders navigate HR processes within the scope of the HR business partner function.
• Responsibilities include maintaining continuity of HR services, coordinating with appropriate HR resources, addressing routine and complex HR matters, and supporting effective implementation of organizational HR practices.
• The successful candidate will bring strong HR business partner or generalist experience, sound judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced patient-care environment.

Required Skills :

• 5+ years of HR business partner or comparable HR generalist experience
• Experience with providing day-to-day HR support to organizational leaders and employees
• Must have experience with HR investigations
• Must have experience working with Unions
• Ability to provide onsite HR support at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center
• Ability to work effectively as a full-time, exempt individual contributor
• Experience with maintaining continuity of HR services and responding to operational HR needs
• Ability to partner with leaders on workforce and employee-related matters within the HR business partner scope

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with healthcare or hospital-based HR operations
• Experience supporting acute-care or patient-care environments
• Experience supporting complex or multi-site organizations
• Proficiency in enterprise HR information systems
