Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Workday North America Payroll, Absence Management, and Payroll Integrations. The ideal candidate will independently manage payroll configuration, year-end processing, W-2 reporting, data validation, and payroll optimization activities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end North America payroll processing using Workday Payroll.

• Lead payroll year-end activities, including W-2 processing, restoring purged W-2 records, and moving records back into production where required.

• Support year-end reporting requirements associated with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).

• Manage payroll and absence configuration changes related to Open Enrollment.

• Develop and maintain complex Workday payroll and data validation reports.

• Use Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) to load, update, and correct payroll data.

• Configure and maintain earnings, deductions, tax setup, and business processes for Payroll and Absence.

• Support payroll integrations and troubleshoot integration-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with US payroll tax regulations and year-end reporting requirements.

• Identify and implement Workday Payroll and Absence optimization opportunities.

• Perform payroll data validation, reconciliation, and reporting using advanced Excel.

• Work independently and take full ownership of deliverables with minimal client-side guidance.
