The Role
• Provide tailored support to individuals to prepare them for independent living in the community.
• Focus on supporting service users through their recovery journey towards independence over an agreed period.
• Deliver flexible support in line with individual needs, contributing to a 24/7 service.
• Collaborate with statutory services such as the NHS to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support the induction of peer staff and volunteers.
What You'll Need
• A strong understanding of recovery principles and experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or dual diagnosis needs.
• Confidence in working both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of mental health conditions, crisis management, and relevant legislation (e.g., Care Programme Approach).
• Awareness of health and safety, with strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
• Essential understanding of safeguarding principles and the ability to communicate clearly in writing.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
