AI Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Engineer in New York, NY.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Applied AI Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript development to build and enhance AI-driven solutions. This role combines full stack engineering with modern AI technologies, focusing on developing scalable applications and intelligent features that improve developer productivity and system performance.

Responsibilities:
* AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications using modern frameworks and tools
* Integrate generative AI models and build intelligent features into existing platforms
* Build and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems
* As an AI Engineer, you will ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, performance, and compliance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support containerized deployments

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in software development
* Strong experience with JavaScript, React, and/or TypeScript
* Hands-on experience with generative AI, prompt engineering, or LLM integrations
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
* Experience building end-to-end AI/ML applications
* Familiarity with tools/frameworks such as RAG, LangGraph, or similar architectures
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
* Exposure to cloud platforms and modern microservices architecture

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
